Have you ever seen the cover art for the Genesis album "Duke"? That's sort of the mood this song is about. The vocals were produced a little too fast in order to make my self-imposed deadline for releasing my CD, but the instruments are all right and the singing's not terrible -- in a couple spots I think the rawness actually helps. Lyrics are on my website at http://www.lionsonsaturn.com.

A personal favorite, because it's energetic, edgy, and bare -- the only cut on my CD that has NO synthesizer. I also chorused the rythm guitar -- are you allowed to do that? Lyrics are on my website at http://www.lionsonsaturn.com.

I was in a band once called The Beefeaters (like the British guards that are named after the gin company). My stage name was Nigel Stryke. When the Beefs broke up, Nigel & The Batmen emerged. It's sort of a ballad on steroids. You can see a picture of me in full Batmen regalia on my website, http://www.lionsonsaturn.com. (And the lyrics.)

I think of this as my theme song. Maybe because I'm a drummer? But the lyrics are also heart-wrenchingly sincere. Lyrics are on my website at http://www.lionsonsaturn.com.

Everybody likes this one. It was the first recording on which I played an actual bass (instead of synthesized). It's also the first time I dared to sing a capella (in the intro). Lyrics are on my website at http://www.lionsonsaturn.com.

This is the first cut on my self-produced CD -- I placed it first because (in my biased opinion) it's instantly accessible and bookends nicely with the last song on the album. Lyrics are on my website at http://www.lionsonsaturn.com.
